about

Call it restless heart syndrome, call it insomnia, call it whatever you like, but there is something that keeps us up at night. We are told “If we get some sleep, we will feel better in the morning”, but the hardest part is actually believing that things really will get better a few hours later. Every time we close our eyes, we’re left with nothing but our thoughts and that is when everything sets in. We stay up late, struggle to stay awake, and lay in bed with exhausted bodies and overworked, run-down minds.

lyrics

I can’t sleep at night
Fighting the weight of my every vice
Slowly falling, and waiting, patiently turning for you
And don’t believe that I want to see your honesty
I just want you stay away

Oh lady of the night
Won’t you let me sleep so right?

I beg and plead for one undisturbed dream
To clear my head of what you seem to me

I’m stuck in patterns of
Breathing then screaming
Right at the moon
But my lifeless face it won’t stop staring
Back at me in the mirror
As I try to see
Oh I try, I try

Oh lady of the night
Won't you let me sleep so right?

I beg and plead for one undisturbed dream
To clear my head of what you seem to me
So when 5 am starts to turn
I hope that I start to truly learn
That you're not worth a single thought
And you're not worth being so lost

Stay away
Give me space

Buy back the breath you sold to me
It’s not worth what you’re costing me
I need my life to come clean

I beg and plead for one undisturbed dream
To clear my head of what you seem to me

I beg and plead for one undisturbed dream
To clear my head of what you seem to me
So when 5 am starts to turn
I hope that I start to truly learn
That you're not worth a single thought
And you're not worth being so lost

Stay away
Give me space
